Kathryn Snarich began the Duluth Preschool of Fine Arts to address a shortage of quality child care in the Twin Ports area where a child's creative and artistic nature could be developed and allowed to flourish.

Today, Jodi Grochowski continues the preschool's philosophy to recognize and celebrate the uniqueness of each child while creating a safe, challenging and constructive environment where children are prepared for kindergarten and introduced to the fine arts.
